Local.Com will help you find businesses and services most places in the United States. You just put in a product or service and a location. There is also a brief description and a map of how to get there.
Cheap Gas is a site where you can find the best prices on gasoline anywhere in the country. I wonder how they do it.

Ebay. I know it can be a great place for sellers. My single experience with this site was meeting someone who got twice as much for her used car than she was going to ask for it.

KSL Classifieds is where my son found the car he purchased.
